Today, we don’t use anything from animals in modern day perfumery. Not too many men, American men, like florals, but what’s interesting is a lot of European men really happen to love florals. We had the top notes, we had the middle notes, now we’re starting on the deeper, the more sort of long-lasting, warm … BI: So these are kind of like the aftertastes? SP: Yes, we call them the dry down. So go back through your list and see which ones you like. And what does it remind you of? Does it remind you of anything? Does it remind you of a childhood memory or somebody you want to be? It’s really a question of self-expression, so why wear what everybody else wears when you can really create your own?

I Recently Ordered Two Customized Perfumes From Scenterprises.

I recently ordered two customized perfumes from Scenterprises. Here I wanted to provide a feedback for the second perfume from this perfume house that labelled as No 04212017. This scent is absolutely a masterpiece. It was created by Sue Phillips at Scenterprises. The design of this No. 04212017 was based on a personal preferences questionnaire I filled out online (http://scentarium.com/create-fragrance-line/). Sue interpreted my answers as fresh floral oriental perfume. My initial sniff of this perfume giving me an impression of citrus, ginger, white flowers with hint of lavender and rose, followed by patchouli, sandalwood, and musk. After few more applications, I believe the floral hearts are tuberose, gardenia, jasmine, and maybe a little freesia and magnolia. The dynamics of this fragrance is outstanding for my taste. The perfume has very clear cut yet smooth transitions from its crispy, citrusy, clean fresh opening to the sweet and calming floral heart notes! The projection of the heart notes had such an appropriate length (about 2-3 hours) and then un-noticeably smoothed into its woody oriental notes. I believe they were trace of patchouli with characteristic Mysore sandalwood and musk. The base notes of this perfume stay quite long and I could detect it after 6-8 hours. This is absolute my current favorite fragrance that I actually wear among my few thousand collections. It also worth to point out that this is a very “polite” perfume. It is well balanced with the right intensity. It is mild and inviting towards people around me when I applied. And I believe it can definitely be used in going to an opera if applied properly. The overall impression of this fragrance is leaning towards a feminine perfume. However, there is no doubt that it can be used as a unisex fragrance. Thank you so much Sue!!!
